The story so far
Sunita Gurung learned the sarangi from a Gandharba master on the Pokhara lakeside. Today she leads a folk-fusion ensemble that brings traditional instruments to festival main stages across Nepal and India.
Her music draws on Gurung and Gandharba folk traditions, reshaped with dub basslines and electronic textures.
